Synopsis:

A painter meets a stranger in a forgotten garden.


Director’s Statement

The Yunnan Garden at Nanyang Technological University has a very special place in the hearts of Nantah's alumni. Due to political reasons and with time, the garden gradually becomes a poignant reminder of the old days gone by that would never return again. Against this backdrop, I felt a love story can actually take place, where protagonist, after a chance encounter, will probably never ever meet again.

On the otherhand, I was trying to experiment a different way of shooting but I guess, I failed badly. I still cringe badly whenever I watch it again.

The film was shot as part of Hall 6 annual's theatre production, in which I directed 4 short plays and 1 short film (i.e. Yunnan Garden).
